1. Unexplained Hair Washing Habits

The story begins on a sunny morning when you stumble into the bathroom, ready to freshen up, right? Well, that’s where the problem lies! We often unknowingly choose shampoos and conditioners with harsh detergents, which cleanse away the natural oils from our scalp and hair, leaving them dry and lackluster.

Solution: Switch to silicone-free shampoo and use a nourishing conditioner to maintain glossy locks every day.

2. Noon Day Hot Showers

As the temperature drops, we naturally opt for hotter water for our showers, as if creating a winter inside our body. However, this supposedly relaxing hot bath can actually exacerbate dryness. The elevated temperature of hot water strips away the natural oils on our skin’s surface, compromising its protective barrier.

Solution: Choose warm water for your showers, gently pat dry with a towel afterward, and then immediately apply body lotion to leave a protective layer on your skin and prevent excessive dryness.

3. Depleting Moisture Enemies: Sun and Air Conditioning

The joy of soaking up sunlight signifies our close connection with nature, but excessive exposure can cause dryness and lackluster skin. In scorching summer days, air conditioning becomes our best friend. However, the strong blasts of air from air conditioners can dehydrate our skin by removing moisture from the air.

Solution: Apply sunscreen before going outdoors and carry a stylish parasol. Use a humidifier or place a damp towel in air-conditioned rooms to add moisture to the air, creating a comfortable environment for your skin.

4. Sedentary Office Workers

The story unfolds in a regular office building, where you find yourself exhausted, sitting at your desk and losing track of time. You don’t even remember to take a bathroom break. This is a common tale! However, prolonged periods of sitting can lead to poor blood circulation, resulting in dry skin due to a lack of moisture and nutrients.
